The architectural design followed a bioclimatic approach. The southern orientation, the geometry of the buildings and the position of the openings result in ideal natural lighting, ventilation and thermal comfort, while the organization of the spaces emphasizes functionality. Modern materials such as wood, glass, stone and concrete were used in the exterior spaces, in harmony with the surrounding landscape.

The energy design of the buildings was based on economy and high efficiency as the main criteria. Installed heat pumps (cooling - heating), energy fireplaces, solar patio.
